On the same website, I read that pomegranates like alkaline soil, then on the next page acidic soil. Confusing. Which is it?

Pomegranate will grow in most types of well draining soil.

Some people do contend that the soil type should be in the slightly acidic to neutral range, but Pomegranate will grow well in alkaline soil as well.
