Q.Poker lilies

Zone Camilla, GA 31730 | jennybostick@gmail.com added on December 9, 2017 | Answered

Should I cut the lilies, which are in full bloom, since it is going to be freezing temps tonight, or will they withstand the cold and still be pretty in my garden?

You can wait until all the foliage and flowers die off. This will ensure that it takes all of that nutrients back into the plant for the next season. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/red-hot-poker/growing-red-hot-torch-lilies.htm
