Q.Plants For Roadside Areas

I live in an area that gets plenty of snow. The village uses a spray with salt on our roads. I have an area near the road that needs some plants. At present I have some rugosa roses that are very hardy. I had some low grow sumac that did not do well, so they were taken out. Now I have an area with nothing. I would like something that is hardy, low growing, and low maintenance. What should I plant there? Thank you, Randy Archambault

You might try a Halophytic succulent! These succulents are salt tolerant and will handle this area. This article will make some suggestions:
