Q.Planting Seeds From A Potato Berries

Hello this is Chris from niagara ontario my question is planting seeds cleaned from the berries of a potato plants I\’ve been reading about planting potatoes in the fall to 8\”deep to get a jump start on next year\’s gardening, can you do the same with seeds harvested from the berries or do they have to be started indoors ?? never tried from seed before always from potatoes that have sprouted in the cellar thanks for any info
