Zone Hartly ,DE. | Anonymous added on December 22, 2017 | Answered

Hi! I`m following the directions on how to plant pineapple tops..
One question it does not mention if you should trim the the top of any leaves that have dried or might break while waiting for it to root…
Should I or should`nt I do so..
Thank`s Dan

You can strip away a few of the lower leaves to expose about 1 inch of the base of the crown.

The remaining leaves should be left intact.
