Q.Planting Impatiens

Zone McKinney tx 75069 | Anonymous added on May 4, 2024 | Answered

I live in McKinney tx in zone 8a. I get sun on my balcony from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. I want to plant impatiens in a flower box on my balcony. Can you tell me if that will be too much sun and heat in the summer.

That will be too much sun for regular impatiens but there is a type called Sunpatiens that can tolerate quite a bit of sun.
