Q.planting from cuttings

Is it possible planting local fruits: for example, ‘rambutan’ (rambusteen), from cutting part of the tree? Thank you.

Actually, propagating this fruit from cuttings is quite difficult and it's normally grown via seed. If you can get your hands on some seeds from this fruit, then that would be the most ideal way of growing it - still, you would need to provide optimal growing conditions as well.
