Planting Fig Trees in Pots

Can fig trees be planted in pots that are fairly large? The ground here is very rocky, in Texas hill country.

Yes, they can. I have a few fig trees myself that grow in containers. They will not reach the same size as those that are grown in the ground, but they still produce well. You just need to make sure that you water them often and fertilize them monthly.
