Q.Planted Bulbs At Completely Wrong Time

Zone 20164 | embie added on March 11, 2024 | Answered

I got many lovely tulip and crocus bulbs, intending to plant last fall, and life got in the way. I put them in the ground in early February, before the last few frosts. Nothing at all came up. Can I leave in place for next year, or should I dig them up and replant in the fall?

I would leave them to reduce stress. At this point, they will continue to grow until their next dormancy. Then the following spring should sprout the flowers that you are waiting on!
