Plant Identification

Question

My wife bought an olive tree a few months ago. It had a tag that oonly said “Premium Olive” is there any way to identify the particular species or cultivar of olive it is?

There are ways to get close, but with some things the only way is to test its DNA. Now, you can get close , but you will have to pay attention to exact leaf size, fruit size, internode length, among many other factors. I'm sorry, but there is no simple way to do this, unless it is a special cultivar.
