Q.Pineapple

Anna K added on April 2, 2017 | Answered

My pineapple has these yellow-reddish-brown spots. In first stage they are white. After couple of days they change collor. What are they? How to stop them forming?

I also notice these brown strips on the back side of leaf. What are they? How to stop them forming?

It looks like it might be yellow spot virus, which is spread by thrips. This article will tell you all about how to control thrips: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/insects/controlling-thrips.htm
