Q.Philodendron After Freeze

Zone San Antonio, Texas 78245 | Wally Cavazos added on April 18, 2021 | Answered

We had a snow storm in February, and my Philodendron froze. I cut it back and you can see in the attached photo, there is a small leaf coming from a bud in one of the stems. Do I leave the rest alone or do I need to cut back anymore? Thanks!

As with the other trees that have suffered from frost damage, you have done all that you can at this time. The only thing, from here, will be working on a prevention plant for each winter, should this happen again.
