Q.Pests in the Dirt of a Rubber Tree Plant

Anonymous added on October 2, 2011 | Answered

I have extremely dark, small flying bugs in the dirt of a rubber tree plant. What could they be and how do I get rid of them? The leaves are drooping and fall off.

It sounds like it could be fungus gnats. Here is more information that should help determine if these are in fact what you are seeing: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/special/children/fungus-gnats.htm
