Q.Pepper Plant Flower Falling Off

Anonymous added on July 6, 2011 | Answered

My pepper plants tend to flower and then once it starts to turn to a pepper will drop off. This seemed to happen last year too. What do I do? I’ve also noticed my cucumbers have also started to form and then dry up and turn yellow. I have a drip watering system in place and my other plants are doing well. Do they need more water? The drip is on every other day for 20 minutes.

There are many reasons why peppers may drop fruit. This article is on peppers dropping flower buds, but the reasons listed in this article are also the same as what may cause pepper fruit to drop: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/pepper/pepper-blossoms-falling-off.htm
