Pear Pollinating

I read about the different groups of pear trees that cross pollinate with each other. But could not find the list of the groups. where is that at? Thanks.

As long as you pick pear trees that flower at the same time you should be OK. In my research, I couldn't find one place that listed all varieties for each group. Possibly because the lists change often with new cultivars. However, if you have one variety already and want to buy another you can search online for varieties that pollinate that certain pear tree. Or just ask at the nursery. Tell them what you have and you need another in the same group (or flowers at the same time).
