Q.

Peach tree disease

Zone 93726 | Jaycyd added on March 8, 2018 | Answered

My peach tree bark has started to split and peel, as well as produce a large amount of sap. Under the bark appears to have burned the wood. Can you please help diagnose this? Thank you Jay

This tree sounds like it has a canker. There is no cure, but there are things you can do to manage this. Here is an article that will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/disease/weeping-amber-in-trees.htm
