Overgrown Evergreen

Question

i am wondering how to prune or trim an evergreen shrub that had 3 separate like clumps a few yrs ago. due to neglect it has become one giant outta control bush. so id like to get it cut back as much as i can.

Unfortunately, this depends on the type of shrub. Your photos did not come through, and it isn't mentioned which type of shrub that you have, so I cannot offer very much information on when and how to prune.
