Q.Over-wintering Mandevilla plant indoors

Zone 45801 | Ekkostar added on August 6, 2016 | Answered

I just purchased a gorgeous Mandevilla and I am one who has been blessed with a green thumb, but I didn’t find anything on where to place the vine. Which window provides the best light for the plant? South or west facing window are the best when I have come across info on when bringing tender plants in to over winter them. What do you suggest? The Mandevilla is already 5-feet tall, and I am wondering once I bring it in the house, “Do I just trim the long vining on the plant and have it look like a bush?”

I appreciate any advice you can give me.
Thank you and God bless!
