The ants themselves are not a problem, but they are likely on the plant because of aphids. The aphids are a problem and can hurt teh plant. This article will help you: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/homemade-aphid-control-a-natural-way-to-kill-aphids.htm

Neem oil can help with treating for aphids and other pests, which will also ward off the ants. Here is more info: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/pesticides/neem-oil-uses.htm
