Q.orchid pest

Johlene added on May 19, 2016 | Answered

I have see-through pots and I bought bark at our Agri. Every night I look at my orchid’s soil, etc. Last night I saw these tiny little see-through worms on the inside of the pot (in my Phal pot). I can’t find an orchid pest on the web that looks like it. It’s like 2 mm and very thin. What can it be??

It sounds like it "could" be a pot worm but without a photo it's hard to tell. This article describes basic pot-worms, and the one below that will allow you to find your local University Extension office -- they may be able to help you make a positive identification.
