Q.Orchid Identification
I picked this orchid up at the dump right before autumn last year. It had no flowers and no tag to identify what type it was. Even without these guides, I was able to keep it alive all winter. I lost a single leaf and one of the leaves is starting to split. By the look of the plant, it’s time for a re-potting. Instructions to do so seem pretty specific, so I want to make sure I don’t kill it. I’ve attached a picture, so if someone can identify it and possibly give me some re-potting and growing tips, it would be greatly appreciated. I’m not really a novice gardener, but I’ve never messed with orchids before.

Thank you for your help, I figured it would be hard to identify without flowers. I'll read over the articles you provided and see if I can find the proper potting material while I'm out tomorrow, wish me luck!

Unfortunately I can't make an identification by just the leaves.
Many orchids have the same leave shape and pattern.
