Q.Old Hibiscus
I have a very old hibiscus that has large branches. It is getting very bare in the middle but has branches that have leaves and flowers on the end. How do I get the bush to be full again? I am afraid to drastically cut it back. I do not want to lose it, as it has very large ruffled flowers that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Any ideas for me?

Sounds like a good pruning may be in order. Don't worry though, these plants can take a fairly hard pruning (cutting it back by a third) and bounce back just fine. Spring is also the time for pruning hibiscus. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/tips-for-pruning-hibiscus-plants-when-to-prune-hibiscus.htm
