Q.No grapes or flowers on vine
We have a 3 year old Black Hamburg vine that has not produced flowers or grapes this year. Done all the usual mulching, watering and feeding at the right times. Interestingly, we were up at Cragside last month and they have many very mature vines which have not flowered or produced grapes this year. We spoke to one of the gardeners there and they did not know why theirs did not flower either. Also, the vineyard 5 miles from us, with the same weather, has normal grapes.
Any ideas? Many thanks.

My best guess would be climate related. There are many microclimates within each area, and sometimes if it is just a little colder or warmer than usual, then you may see a disruption in production. It also could be related to lack of pollinators. I would be willing to bet that they will return to production by next year.
