New Lawn

Question

Hi i had this new lawn put Down yesterday, had top soil down before th turf also. The turf started going yellow, is it dead? Thanks

It is experiencing some sort of stress. This is not typical and can indicate that the soil under is too wet, or too dry. Usually, too dry.
