Q.Need weed killer for cotoneaster dammeri

Zone Olympia, washington | jschultz added on April 24, 2015 | Answered

I have Cotoneaster dammeri on a very high, steep hill that is being overcome with weeds. Is there anything I can treat them with to kill weeds? It’s impossible to do it manually.

What weed(s) are you afflicted with? Different types of weeds have different eradication strategies - you can search https://www.gardeningknowhow.com for specific weed removal options.

Weeds can be removed chemically (https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/weeds/conventional-weed-killers.htm) or organically (https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/special/organic/homemade-pet-friendly-weed-killer.htm)

You can also consider a different type of ground cover that is more resilient to weeds such as english ivy or periwinkle:
