Q.My Zucchini (and My Cucumbers)

Anonymous added on August 20, 2011 | Answered

The fruit is very pale (light to medium green). Too much rain this summer? Not enough nutrients? I’ve been gardening for 25 years and haven’t seen veggies like this. HELP!!

The following articles should be of some help to you: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/zucchini/solutions-for-common-problems-growing-zucchini.htm
https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/spider-mite-detection-and-spider-mite-natural-control.htm

This can be caused by spider mites, which can suck the juices from plants, leaving them pale in color. Treat with insecticidal soap or see article above. It could also be due to some type of bacterial infection. Remove infected leaves/plants.
