Q.Yucca leaves are curling inward

Zone Jackson County, WV | rissa2011 added on June 1, 2015 | Answered

My Yucca leaves are curling inward to where it looks like the leaves are cone shaped. Also, the leaves seem to be drooping. I bought my Yucca about 1-2months ago. It is quite small. I water my plants just about every day, but not if it rains. I live in WV. The dirt is the hard clay like type. I used potting soil when I planted it. Is there any hope my yucca will make it or is it a goner? Should I not water so often, and if so, how often is watering recommended?

Daily watering is probably to much. Yucca has very low watering requirements and is considered drought tolerant.
Allow the soil to dry between watering.
Your plant may recover but you will need to wait and see.
