My Weigelas Froze

Question

I have 3 weigelas in the front of my house. It looks as if they froze this spring. Most of the wood has no leaves. Please advise of if I should prune the dead wood out or replace the shrubs.

Pruning out the dead wood is a definite yes. It may come back from the roots. Here are two articles that should help:
