Q.My Pumpkin Is Almost White on the Inside

lysha added on September 26, 2012 | Answered

Pumpkin is almost white inside. Is it supposed to be? The stem is hard, the color is bright orange and the skin dents but doesn’t break. Is it ripe?

It does not sound like it is fully ripe if it's white inside. For help with pumpkin ripening, this articles should help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/pumpkin/how-to-tell-when-pumpkins-are-ripe.htm
