Q.My Perennial Garden Is Pot Bound. I’m Starting To See Roots And The Plants Are Crowded. I Can’t Get A Shovel In The Ground.

Do I have to remove all the plants and redo the bed or is there a way around it? For sure it needs more soil but where do I start?
