milk thistle plants in veggie garden

Question

My neighbor has three milk thistle plants growing in her veggie garden. We live in a rural area where we raise cattle, sheep and horses. I have also been reading that it is quite an invasive plant. Is this true? As we raise sheep, should we be concerned about this?
