Q.My Indoor Peace Plant Leaves Are Turning Brown. Why?

I have an indoor, potted peace lily. The leaves are turning brown. I trimmed it back once, and water consistently, but not too much. It is in a darker space, does it need more light? What could be causing the brown leaves?

I would try more light. Even though they can tolerate low light levels, it would do much better with some bright, indirect light. These articles should help:
