Q.My Hosta Plants Have Black Moldy Leaves At The Base After Being Cut Back. Can I Treat Them?
We have not had a hard frost yet, but could any day ( zone 4B) is ther some treatment for the moldy plant base?

You could try a general fungicide, but the freezing temperatures over the winter should take care of it.
