Q.my hibiscus outdoor plant

Zone North Branch, MI 48461 | Anonymous added on August 18, 2017 | Answered

I have a Hibiscus plant that seems to be doing well except for one thing- It gets many blooms on it but they never open, and they just die out. Why?

This is very common with Hibiscus plants, so it is not a sign of poor health or that you are doing anything wrong. They will often drop blossoms because of temperature or water stress or the presence of insect pests. You could try providing it with some shade, watering more evenly, and checking for any insects on the plant.
