My Gardina’s Have Frost Damage

Question

I live in TN and I have 2 good size gardina, s that every winter get some frost damage to their leaves and they turn brown. Its coming on early Spring and I want to know how to prune them or do I leave them alone. I also don, t ever have any flowers on these bushes. Maybe a couple. Please help, I love gardina, s and want them healthy
