My Fig Tree is about 1 year and it’s planted in the ground. It’s doing well. It has lots of green figs for about 2 months and

they don’t look like they will ripen. Is this normal and I should expect it next season? Had the fig tree in a potted planter last summer. brought it in for the winter. Planted it in our yard this spring and it looks healthy and bearing lots of figs.
