Esperanza Plants

Q.My Esperanza Plants Are Growing Fast But They Are NOT BLOOMING. They Are In Full Sun.

Two are growing over one inch pre day and look very healthy. I water them a lot since we are in a drought in West Texas. I feed them miracle grow every two weeks.

You could try a more balanced fertilizer like 20-20-20, either in slow release form or a water soluble form. Then follow package directions for frequency. If your plants are in containers, they will need feeding more often than if in the ground.

If you prefer, you can just add bone meal to your current regimen with Miracle Grow.

Esperanza, which is perennial, may not be mature enough to bloom yet, especially if it was grown from seed. Here are more ideas:

OK
