Q.My Cherry Tree Is Cut Down. The Stump Is Still There But Even With The Ground. I Have A Flower Bed Around The Tree And The Roots
which are mesh like fill the soil. How do I get rid of these roots as next spring I will plant flowers again?

You will have to remove them, physically, if you want this done fast. Otherwise, you can inoculate the stump with a wood eating mushroom, like oyster mushrooms, or another edible. This will make faster work of the breaking down process, but can still take a year or two.
