Calibrachoa Plants
Q.

My calibrachoa is sick

Zone Illinois. Zone 5-6 | Anonymous added on August 6, 2016 | Answered

The plant's spent flowers are turning brown. That's ok, but parts of the viney plant itself is turning brown. The plant appears to be dying. It's in a hanging basket. I've watered it everyday, fertilized it every couple weeks. Did I water it too much?

Checking the soil by actually dry is the best. Daily water for container plants is a general rule. It may even need twice daily water if the temperatures are above 85 degrees.
Trim away the dead material and review the growing care requirements in the link below.
