Q.amaryllis stem is cracked and bent

My amaryllis was knocked over last night. The stem is cracked and bent. How can I save it? It did have 3 blooms on it which were also knocked off.

The best thing to do now is to simply cut the flower stalk. If you have lost the blooms, it will not reproduce new blooms this year. If the blooms had remained intact, you could attach a chopstick or a skewer to the side of the flower stalk to keep it intact and upright while the blooms opened.

Even though you lost the blooms this year, that does not mean you can't enjoy it as a nice houseplant and keep it to enjoy its blooms next year. This article will help with that:
