Q.My 6 yr old palm has flowered and left me with seed pods, what is the next step. Do I cut them out OR ?
The tree is one of 5 in a bed where the original tree died of frost damage about 2010/12
these are all siblings. It is the first time of flowering on the eldest then turning to seed pods. what is the right way to deal with the growth.

This looks like a Cordyline australis or commonly called cabbage palm. You can collect the seeds if you'd like to grow new plants. If not, just trim them off if you don't like the appearance.
