Mushroom Identity

Anonymous added on September 23, 2011 | Answered

I have recently found a mushroom growing in my yard in the grass. It has a white stem, with five brown leaves off the top. The underneath of the leaves are wrinkled. The cap is white with brown underneath and the edges are ruffled.

I am sorry, but it is our policy not to identify mushrooms due to the liability involved if they are incorrectly identified. We suggest that you take it to your local extension service for identification.
