Q.Moving To New House In Nov In Southern WI

Zone 53556 | Jwohlfert added on November 2, 2021 | Answered

I am moving to a new house in southern Wisconsin. I just pulled up several daffodil, tulip, and hyacinth bulbs. They are currently drying in the garage. The temperatures are highs 39-45F and lows 25-34F. I will place in mesh bags and then a box to transport. I am wondering if I don’t get a chance to plant them this fall before the snow, what do I need to do to them for the winter and when should I plant them again outside?

Since all of these will need an autumn planting, I would store them until next autumn. This article will help:
