I was wondering what the best season to move perennials might be? I live in a Northern zone. Spring or Fall?

This depends on the type plant you have. Most will tolerate a fall transplant, but I believe it would be best to transplant in early spring. Many people are split on this issue, but definitely in your case, you would want to do this in spring rather than fall, as your winters can be a bit rough on plants.
