Q.Moon flower grown from a pod

Zone I live in the Dallas area | Anonymous added on June 28, 2016 | Answered

My friend has a moon flower plant and gave me one of the seed pods. How do I plant this? Do I plant the pod as is or do I cut it open?

Each pod from the Moonflower contains 2 to 4 round seeds. Break open the pods and remove the seeds.

These seeds should be soaked for 24 hours before planting in 3" peat pots with a soilless mix.
Cover the seeds with 1/4" potting mix and water well, keep in a warm location.
You should have germination in 4 to 14 days if they seeds are viable.
Allow the seedling to grow until the roots emerge through the peat pods.
