Q.Mold On Crepe Mrytle Tree
I would like to know what causes the mold on crepe myrtle. The tree is not in direct sunlight but is open. I see mold forming on it already. Last year it all but ruined the tree. How can I kill or get rid of the mold. Thank you. Maggie

Likely, this is a sooty mold issue! This is usually caused by aphids or other sap sucking insects.
