Maranta Plant

Question

My Maranta droops. It does not stand up. Is the pot too big or is the plant too shallow. I started a new one, not drooping so far but only has one leaf at this time. I have not been fertilizing it, just watering when it needs it. It was in an east window but now have it in a north window. Looks the same, grows new leaves and droops.

It sounds like it either does not have enough light or enough humidity. You can place a fluorescent light near it to improve the light and then place it on a pebble tray to increase humidity.
