Q.magnolia trees

Have a newly planted tree and the temp is suppose to be 29 degrees for two hours. Should I cover the tree that has blossoms?

The blossoms will likely fall off either way. This will not kill the tree, however. They can tolerate much more cold than this. It will return to normal as the temperatures remain steady.
