Maden Grass

Question

I planted some Madien Grass last year and it grow to about 6 feet. This year it does not seem to have any growth yet. When should I expect it to look like to life? It is late spring now.

Summer grasses are sometimes slow to grow out in the spring.
Pull back the base and see if you have green growth down low in the crown.
