Q.Macadamia tree

Zone Toowoomba 4350 | Cathy Hollman added on April 11, 2018 | Answered

We live in Toowoomba Queensland. Our macadamia tree is around 20 years old but has not produced nuts for the last 5 years or so. We live on acreage and unfortunately have not looked after the tree in recent years, however we have more time on our hands now. Can you please tell me what I need to do to get the tree to produce again?

It could be that it is lacking fertilizer, or has contracted a disease. Can you include a photo? This article will give you information on their care in the meantime: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/nut-trees/macadamia/how-to-grow-macadamia-trees.htm
